  • Detail of new painting. Catch me if I fall. Oil on linen. 180x180cm. This painting started out as another Pilotgirl painting but has become much more about a mother-daughter relationship, about creating space for a young person to make her own mistakes and being there to soften the fall. Being a teen can so often feel like jumping without a parachute and the newfound freedom can be very scary and daunting.
